MWM Study Award Fund Creating Meaningful Impact for Financially Needy Students

During the 10th anniversary of the Master of Science in Wealth Management (MWM) Programme in 2014, the endowed MWM Study Award was established to support financially needy students at SMU, to enable them to enjoy the holistic education that the University offers and give back to society. To date, 16 recipients have benefitted from the generosity of our alumni and MWM community.

SMU’s key priority is to ensure that no deserving student is deprived of our unique educational experience because of financial constraints. Our collective commitment to our students ensures that they have real opportunities to explore new pathways for development and to discover the full extent of their capabilities.

With the MWM 20th Anniversary this year in 2024, we hope to keep this meaningful tradition of paying it forward, impacting the lives of talented and driven students with a fundraising goal of S$200,000 collectively from 20 batches of MWM graduates. Together with the current endowment, this will provide 4 endowed study awards for deserving and financially needy students per year, in perpetuity.
